    3. This question was asked quite awhile ago on this list, and in the archives I found the below response; however, the name of such a device was not provided. We would appreciate knowing the type of device to search for on the web. TIA Rick Hi, I am not sure about home movies which I suppose are 8mm tapes, but I bought a VHS/DVD recorder for about $200 Cdn. and am tranferring video 8 tapes from an analog video recorder, old home movies that had been transferred to VHS commercially, onto DVDs. It works well and I am satisfied with the results. Dave in cold Montreal

It is one of many of these types of equipment.
