We would appreciate knowing the type of device to search for on the web. TIA Rick Hi, I am not sure about home movies which I suppose are 8mm tapes, but I bought a VHS/DVD recorder for about $200 Cdn. and am tranferring video 8 tapes from an analog video recorder, old home movies that had been transferred to VHS commercially, onto DVDs.
