    2. Emma- You didn't say which browser you are using for Facebook. The Time Warner and AOL split wouldn't be the cause of your slow computer --nothing has really changed in how AOL and its browser function. However, if you are using the AOL integrated IE browser for Facebook I'd recommend using Firefox instead. Firefox works MUCH better with Facebook and is much faster (I hear Google Chrome is even faster but I haven't used it personally). AOL's IE fails miserably with Facebook and its apps--but you can use Firefox and AOL's browser at the same time (have both open) and use the AOL browser for other sites while you are on Facebook and the apps with Firefox. Also, since Firefox (or Chrome) are independent browsers and not a part of the AOL software using them has no effect on anything you might be doing on AOL with your AOL program open -- like checking email for example.
