    3. Eureka! I think I've found it! I, too, have been frustrated by the very same problem..."Where is the EDIT button on IE8." In short, open IE8, if the Edit menu does not appear, press the ALT key to display it. To turn menus on permanently, click the Tools button, point to Toolbars, and then click Menu Bar . I found this info in Windows Help and Support. Following are excerpts from there: To find information on a webpage 1.. Click to open Internet Explorer. 2.. Click the Edit menu, and then click Find on this Page to display the text box on the tab row. 3.. In the text box on the tab tow, type the word or phrase you want to find on this page. The number of matches found will appear next to the Options button, and the page will automatically scroll to the first occurrence of the word or phrase. 4..
