I have a problem with Yahoo What happens typically is (and for instance) ... I subscribe to the Hants-Kingsclere genealogy list and,as with other sites,one gets input about families etc and an email address should one want to contact the person needing help or more information etc. When I left click onto that email address I get this; https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?.intl=us&.src=ym&.done=http%3a%2f%2fcompose.mail.yahoo.com%2f%3fTo%3dmailto%253Agregross%2540forgandenny.fsworld.co.uk When I right click on the email address I get a dialogue which invites me to copy the email address which I do and after this I 'Create Mail' and paste the address into the new mail message then write message and send. So the end justifies the means but Yahoo has created such a lot of nonsense to go through to get there. I have searched through my PC using just the word 'Yahoo' and found just one folder which was created in 1999 that has about 120 files in it all waiting to be either copied or extracted ......... which I wont do ......... but there is no provision to delete any individual file nor the complete folder. In 1999 I was using W98 and have been using WXP since it became available. Any input would be much appreciated Joe ..... who at 82+ is no 'techie'
