Good morning. Can you transfer a program - i.e. Microsoft Money - with a transfer cable? My niece got a new computer but Microsoft Money is no longer available. She does not have the CD with the program from the old computer. I know I can transfer the data with a flash drive to the new computer but it won't do any good without the program. Thanks, Mary.

No - programs cannot be transferred from PC to PC that easily, you need the installation files either on CD or downloaded. If you still have the licence key then it may be possible to download the free trial and activate it. According to MicroSoft the activation will only be possible up to Jan 31st 2011 ... here's the link... http://forums.techarena.in/windows-software/1203680.htm -- Best regards, Barry mailto:barry@yobunny.co.uk MicroSoft Free Zone running Ubuntu 9.10'Karmic'
