I have totally lost my sound system on my computor. Not even the icon on desktop remain. I have gone thru My Computor and all the sound checks to no avail. Any suggestions as to what may have happened and how I might get sound back, would be appreciated.   Thanks,  Bev Healy

Sounds like the driver has been corrupted or lost somehow but the first thing to try is a System Restore back to when the sound was still working. Often that's all you need to do so worth trying :-) If that still doesn't fix it then you are looking at finding the sound card drivers and re-installing.
