G'Day all. After allowing my 10 year old granddaughter use my Pc for a day I am getting an annoying pop up when I boot the pc. (see under) *Error loading D:\program~1\frostw~1\openca~1\ocsetu~\1.dll the specified module could not be found.* I have physically checked the folder in question that does not exist, I found the program and uninstalled it to no avail. I then went to system restore but that was switched off ??? I ran malwarebytes my AVG, spybot, etc I googled it and other then it suggesting it could be a Trojan it gives no indication how to get rid of this pest (Can someone help please) Regards Arthur South Australia

It will tell you that you need to re-boot so do this and on startup you'll get a message that startup configuration has changed ( it has, you did it !! ) and on the message is a box to tick to not warn you again. That should get the pop-up sorted !! As for System Restore - if it's not working then you need to get it fixed and the way to do that is turn it off then back on again. Do this through [ Start / Control Panel / System / System Restore ] and tick the box to 'Disable System Restore'. You'll get a message that this will delete all current restore points, not a problem as they aren't working anyway !! Then re-boot and repeat but removing the tick to enable System Restore again. -- Best regards, Barry mailto:barry@yobunny.co.uk MicroSoft Free Zone running Ubuntu 9.10'Karmic'
