As the writing of my family history, first venture, nears completion, I have begun to wonder if I should write the article in Word '03 or Word '07? I am thinking of family members who might not have Word '07. Will they be able to read that article? What is recommended? Also, there are so many WEST men named James in this lineage that we make it a habit to identify our James by the range of birth years, 1760-1770 (to date we have no document that provides exact birth date, so we use the results from analysis of the census records): James (1760-1770) is the consistent way we guarantee the reader will know the James we reference. Is this an acceptable way of writing? I solicit and welcome any and all opinions/advice/suggestions. TIA Rana
