    1. [SR-NEWBIE] Help getting out of Facebook (RickandRana)
    2. Hiiiiii Rana Maybe you could contact facebook and ask them what It means. If you were in contact with anybody else on the book I suppose that person would have anything you wrote in their old pages Its an interesting question. I myself gave no personal info except my name. I am surprised at what some people have put in. I myself am a facebook addict. I have found and been found by relatives I knew about vaguely and one young girl I worked with contacted me and it was wonderful to be remembered. I love the games and to spy on my grandchildren. Of course I am not really spying I just like the way it sounds. My grandchildren had to except me as a friend in order to read what they talk about. Some of my adult children's friends have also friended me which also is nice. I know some of them wont let their parents friend them on facebook. I am fortunate that I have a really wonderful relationship with my kids etc. that they are comfortable enough to let me easedrop looooool. I really enjoy facebook Also My granddaughter has changed her name 4 times already in search of the perfect name and my other Granddaughter has joined at least 100 causes so if facebook keeps the info I cant imagine how they would back up everything But I am completely paranoid and I think if I would leave facebook I would change my name after reading your concerns. Ema As we closed our account, a Facebook team message was emailed to us (in essence; not direct quote) that anytime we wished to return we could, and things would be just as they are today. Do I understand this message to mean that our information is permanently stored on Facebook? This effort to use a venue such as Facebook has been another learning experiece for us. In conclusion, I think the problem is that we did not fully understand the purpose of Facebook. Considerably after the fact, we have read its statements of purpose. TIA Rana
