I want you to know that we went back to Facebook after having received the previously referenced notice, typed in the word delete in a rather unlikely place. It was typed into a line that appeared somewhere on the page but was not conneted to our account---at least not that we could see it. We had to sign out by answering a couple of questions and then copying two of those skewed letters/words. Finally, after several minutes, we had a message from Facebook Team that read in part "if you do not sign into your account for fifteen consecutive days, your Facebook account will be permanently deleted". Looks as though we may be _out_. Thanks again for the help and encouragement.
