    3. I believe Facebook's trick of getting your email addresses is that you have to UNCLICK something initially, a little blurb you might not notice, that gives them permission. Pretty tricky. I would like to know this about Facebook: My stuff never appears on my friends' pages, and I know that they are not all, at least, blocking me. I did something to keep Facebook from having some sort of control early on (suggested by a cousin) and that may have something to do with it, but darned if I can figure out how to let people see my postings. I have been all over those links, and can't figure it out. BTW, there is a way to hide all the "Mafia Wars" and "Farmville" stuff that comes, but I don't know what it is off the top of my head. 3. Nancy-you click Hide and it then gives you options-you can block whatever application you wish. Helen

Pretty tricky. > Nancy, very tricky, because as a newbie to computers and online research, I am very careful what I do and don't do on the web. Also, we had one virus when we first bought our computer, and it cost us eighty dollars to have the virus removed, so we are really careful about sites we open and links we click. I so thank you for telling me of the "pretty tricky" bit. It helps ease my mind that I might have been careless.
