I don't recall any links I clicked on that could have granted Facebook access to my address book. There are apps that I have started to subscribe to and backed out because it said that to work I must give my life away, and I quickly backed out. When one joins Facebook, there are opt-in features that allow FB to access one's addresses that one encounters. One must go into one's privacy settings to opt out. I've done that on the advice and warnings of other FB users. I'm providing a link to posts describing the same problem we're having, and how FB is sneaky in how they obtain "friends" for a subscriber. Here it is: http://badwarebusters.org/main/itemview/4549 And if you merely inactivate one's FB account, yes, FB retains all of your information so that it's there "forever" or when you reactivate. To remove an account and it's information from FB, one must delete one's account. I appreciate your time and help. Rana
