I have always had Sony products but I would never buy another sony computer. Mine was the top of the line and came with a year service guarantee but the service you get was horrible. The reason I got it was because they had a fantastic program click to DVD that didn't always work. And I knew I would need the year service. On Tvs, cameras etc that I own the service was quick and excellent so I didn't mind paying the etc for the sony. Everyone that I know says its just paying for the Sony name. On the other hand my coz bought an acer and she said that they gave her excellent service since the machine broke down 3 times in 4 months. But I dont think I need that.
