I have a similar problem, but don't know "the paper-clip" trick." Could someone explain how to do this? Thanks Norma In a message dated 7/13/2010 11:14:51 A.M. So have you tried shutting down the PC totally then starting up again ? Also does the CD drawer come out when you press the button plus what happens if you put a CD in there ??
Hi Norma ...... if you look at the CD drawer you should see a tiny hole in the space below and close to the button that opens the drawer. If you straighten a paper clip and carefully (gently) push it into the hole you should find that the drawer will open easily.
