When things like this go wrong then it's a good idea to try a System Restore back to a time when they worked OK in case it's a registry file corruption. Go to [ Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools ] and you'll see the System Restore icon to double click on. You'll see a calendar with dates marked in bold letters, these are the days that have restore points saved so choose one before this printing problem happened and see if you can roll back to it.
