Bev: Yes, I bought a program PCMover that should and will bring over the old data and programs. The only problem is I can't keep the old computer up long enough to get it done. I was almost done a couple of times in the last 3 days. I have a question as to what is on the "D" Disk normally. I am trying to copy my old computer (Vista) to my new computer (Win 7). I am using PCMover to do this task. But it is telling me there is not enough room on my "D" Disk. It is titled HP Recovery and has a file named Recovery which is 4 KB (4096 Bytes). Can I removed this recovery file to free up that disk space? >> >> ??? I must have tried to move from one computer to another at least 10 to 12 times in the last 2 days. My old computer keeps getting a blue screen or it just locks up. I was into the conversion 3.5 hours when it got the dreaded blue screen. >> >> ??? Any help on this is greatly appreciated. >> >> ???????????
