Our son has offered us a new-to us, all in one printer termed e-machine. This machine will be wireless, have a network and have its own email address, if we have understood correctly what we have read. Our concerns are: 1. if we network, wireless, will our personal and research papers be more available to hackers? At present, Rick keeps all vip records on his computer and rarely surfs the web from that computer; I do research on my computer and visit many sites each day; 2. if this machine has its own email address, will we be able to just print from a program, Word for example? Must we email a Word doc in order for it to print? 3. may we scan with this machine without sending the item to an email address? We are very confused as can readily be determined by reading of this post. Any and all help gratefully received. Rana
