I may have written about this in the past, and if I did get an answer, maybe I didn't understand it; so I am sharing this with others who may experience it. I never had trouble with www.amazon.com, and did not change any settings, but suddenly, I would get a box that pops up saying: Security Warning The current Web page is trying to open a site in your Trusted sites list. Do you want to allow this? Current site: http://www.amazon.com Trusted site: res://ieframe.dll ----------------- AND, the darned thing would popup on each page of amazon as I worked my through the pages to get to the thing I wanted to buy, or the book I wanted to read about, over and over and over again. It was maddening, and I avoided the site as much as I could, but it was amazing how often I seemed to need to go there. So here is the fix, which I found by googling after tearing my hair out today, for others who may be experiencing this: "It is also possible to eliminate the popup by changing the setting below: Open Control Panel-Internet Options-Security tab-Trusted Sites-Custom Level button. Scroll down and "enable" or "disable" the setting below. (Disable is safer.) (NOTE: MINE WAS SET TO PROMPT) "Web sites in less privileged Web content zones can navigate into this zone" Click on OK, "apply", then OK, etc. Hope this helps. Grif "
