I got rid of spywarebot and installed Malwarebyte and scanned the system, it came up with 1 infected and then a ton of spywarebot rogue infections. Thanks and I shall check with this site if anything else pops up.

I think that is the same one I bought earlier this year and it didn't remove whatever it was it claimed it would. I complained to them and they issued credit. Yes, I think it's a scam, Dale. I would call your bank and tell them you were duped and would like to challenge the charge. I think they will most likely remove it, may in fact give you a new card and number. Try to get whatever Spyware Stop is off of your system. If you have to go into safe mode and remove it from there. You will need the COA licence key too which should be on a sticker on the case somewhere. Easy enough to spot as it has a string of numbers on it which is you licence ( 25 digits in 5 blocks of 5 ). Vista does have a high number of processes normally and this is one of the reasons it needs more RAM to run well.
