    3. I forgot to add that some email programs will leave a space at the end of each line, so replacing with "one space" will sometimes make 2 spaces between the words. So if that happens, you can replace "spacespace" with "space" Courtney sitnah@cox.net ----- Original Message ----- From: <WoodyWoodworth@aol.com> > Nancy, > That is neat. 1. [SR-NEWBIE] Problem with latest version of Firefox
    2. Hello Barry, I downloaded firefox ver. 3.5 the other day and just about every time I go online to view a website, I find Work Offline is checked. I can uncheck it and visit as many websites as I want, but when I sign off the internet and then sign back on, I have to uncheck the Work Offline again. What is causing this problem? I never had it until I installed ver.3.5. Lloyd

    2. Nancy, I looked around the internet, and there are lots of questions on that, but no good answers. There's a $14.95 program that will do it. I do the same kind of editing to place more info on one page, changing the margins, resizing fonts, etc, deleting impertinent data, etc. Woody =================== hootmon2@earthlink.net writes: I feel there must be an easier way to do this than what I'm doing. 3. Hi all, We are still dealing with trojan problems and I am going to have to Smack my husband Hard if he doesn't call a repair man! In doing all of the scans and fixes, we have somehow lost any images on the internet page. We know we are connected to the internet, because we can get emails, and we can connect to pages (and then later dump the memory), but the page is just blank. What got unclicked, or how can we get anything to show up now? Thanks! nancy

    3. Hi Courtney, I checked the Samsung website, then followed your instructions and changed the resolution with the slider.  It was the wrong proprotions so I changed it back to 1024x768 where it was to start with.  Whatever happened, the toolbar and status bar are staying where they should.  Maybe I just needed to let them know I knew they were misbehaving.  <BG>   Whatever, it worked! Try to pick one that has the same length x width "look" as the length x width of your monitor.

Or possibly the Monitor came with some instructions which say what is the best resolution settings to use with it (long shot, but you never know! ) Look up the monitor on the makers website, maybe it will say which one to use Courtney sitnah@cox.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nancy W." <wright4766@bellsouth.net> Thanks for the response, Courtney, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I should have said this is a 4-5 year old computer using XPHome. The monitor is a 22 inch flat screen. I looked at the task bar under properties. Those items checked are Lock Task bar, Keep task bar on top of other windows and Group similar buttons. Could it have something to do with the resolution? When I plugged it in, a screen opened up and said something about the resolution, but I wasn't expecting it and didn't see what it said. I think it said 1024 x 768 (not sure about the last two digits.) If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then the chances are it's a duck .... i.e. a scam to get you to give away personal details. No reputable company will contact you to verify account information like that, and certainly the bit about 'account will be permanently closed' is again a tactic by spammers to frighten users into falling for the trick.
