    2. I suddenly have iFinger.exe on my computer. I did not download it and have no idea how it got there. From "googling" I know it is a dictionary about which you have to worry about losing the licenses involved and that once it is installed it attaches to everything and it is with you forever. Could this have been a part of a Windows update? I have only been using Rootsweb, Ancestry, findagrave, and google. Any ideas about where it came from. I think I am going to try to uninstall it. I shall wait to hear some ideas first. Thanks and Merry Christmas everyone.

    2. Velma, In OE, a reopened e-mail window remembers its last size. You need to resize your window that views an e-mail. To resize your e-mail window, drag your cursor over the edges of the window until you see the "double arrow" that looks like this: <-> When you see that <->, press on the left mouse button and drag the edge outward or inward to resize the window. The <-> works on the bottom of the window, too. Woody =================== kvmckay@shaw.ca writes: Thanks - I had to do that each time I open an email, wanted to keep it large upon opening. 2. Velma- Yes...OE would be your email client. I don't use OE so I can't specifically answer about that program -- but, yes, I do mean the file, edit, view, etc. menus. If you have anything like that try clicking Window > Remember Window Size and Position (after you have set it as you want it). Joan In a message dated 12/5/2009 1:57:09 P.M. 1. Re: [SR-NEWBIE] scattered reception of llmessages
    2. Walter, The wrong button you clicked on was a column header at the top of your list of e-mails. Go over to the "Received" heading and click on that. It will list all e-mails by date/time received. If it is in the wrong order (oldest at bottom), click on the "received" heading again and it will reverse the order. Probably the wrong button you pushed was to click on the "subject" heading. But that sorting feature can be very useful in finding "stuff". Let's say you want to quickly find all e-mail from one certain person. Highlight an e-mail from that certain person. Now go to the top and click on "From". The sort will group all e-mails from that person together (and all others as well). To go back to normal sorting, click on the 'received" column to get everything back in date/time order.
