    2. I don't know if it is actually due to your recent upgrading, but the problem sounds so very similar to the one I had a month ago. I experienced the same things and more, i.e., task bar moved suddenly up to the top, the screen moved rapidly to the right, etc. The problem was I needed a new mouse. I hope that's all your problem is. Maryellen In a message dated 12/11/2009 7:38:01 A.M. Sometimes just looking around makes Windows behave itself, like a naughty child who's been caught out <lol> As for the message on the printer window, that's just the mode that it's in for working the printer manually ( i.e. not through the PC ) so can be ignored. You should be able to change it to Print or Scan by pressing the appropriate buttons ( check the manual ) but it won't affect the computer's use of the printer. -- Best regards, Barry mailto:barry@yobunny.co.uk MicroSoft Free Zone running Ubuntu 9.10'Karmic'

This R> happens on all pages I use whether home email, gmail or web pages. It sounds like switch bounce but since you changed to a different mouse then it's not the mouse itself at fault. Did the mouse you replaced it with have the same type of connection - i.e. the round plug ? If so then see if you can use a USB mouse instead ( these have the rectangular USB plug ). Failing that you may be having a problem with electrical noise from the power supply unit. Once came across a system that had this and the mouse was behaving very erratically but worked fine on another PC so it wasn't the mouse at fault. Also what happens if you use the keyboard ? Many things that we do with a mouse click can also be done using keyboard though not all programs have this alternative way of 'clicking'. -- Best regards, Barry mailto:barry@yobunny.co.uk MicroSoft Free Zone running Ubuntu 9.10'Karmic'

Toni ----- Original Message ----- From: RickandRana In the last three days, my computer has become hyper, and I am not kidding. Everytime I attempt delete of one item the computer goes wild and will delete three or four items adjacent to the one I want to delete. This happens on all pages I use whether home email, gmail or web pages. In addition, when I attempt to place the cursor in another spot, the word near the cursor is highlighted, and, if I do not notice quickly, the word is deleted.
