Seems this is a fairly common problem with the Intel graphics chipset that uses this driver. Mostly it's games that give it but it can happen at any time for some. Short of changing the graphics card the only option appears to be to get the latest drivers from Intel and see if that helps. Also turning down graphics acceleration appears to help a bit. It can also be caused by overheating so it's worth checking that the PC isn't in need of a dust out inside - more so if this is a laptop as their cooling is more easily clogged up. -- Best regards, Barry mailto:[email protected] MicroSoft Free Zone running Ubuntu 10.04 'Lucid' 64bit
Hello List, I have a problem that has happen twice so far. Two days ago and then this evening while working on my genealogy data, the screen went black and then open in safe-mode, with this error message; "Ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working." At the Container Store I got clear photo boxes that were great for my needs, but I don't know if they are archival--oddly, I didn't think to check for that. Each plastic box will hold about 100 photos, and you can get a bigger slotted box to put them in that holds about 8 or one that holds about 16, so it holds a ton of them; And the big box has a handle. They go on sale every so often. I just did a search there for "photo storage" and a number of archival boxes came up. Nancy

To enable the editor, click on Compose Mail and then look right under the "Attach a file" link. You will see a link that says "Rich formatting." Click on that and all of the rich text tools will appear. (Note: Don't be confused, because the under the tools, you will see a link that says "Plain text," but that's only there if you ever want to change back to the normal text settings). Joan, I thank you for your help! If this post goes through, it is because the instructions worked! Rick Powell
Regarding rich text: When you write an email in Gmail you have a choice of rich formatting or plain text. It is just above the box that you write in. Bev Carlson of Minnesota Today's Topics: 1. Will you kindly explain? Thank you. Rick Powell
