    3. It is easy to come to that conclusion......and it doesn't mean you are prejudiced. It just seems to identify someone. It is a part of who he is. Just as Ruth is a part of who I am and it tends to identify me as a person coming from a caucasian background, as opposed to, say, an Oriental background. 3. Hi, Can some one tell me how to make the text "wrap' around photos, that you send in emails? It just sorta shoves the photo down one line at a time, to make room for another line of text.... Or is this something that OE6 is not capable of? I also have some problems moving the photo.... I can make it smaller or larger... move it is another deal.... Thanks!! PAX NancyT

    1. Re: [SR-NEWBIE] Photo program
    2. David Creelman
    3. Picassa 2 is a great free program. Google bought this formerly pay program, and is giving it good support. It does most things a 'for pay' program will do to edit pictures, and organizes them as well. Check it out: http://www.picasa.com/ While not in the same league with Jasc's Paint Shop Pro, or Photoshop Elements, it is easy to learn to use, and a lot of fun. Picture editing and organizing tools are not always easy to get a handle on. I usually use Photoshop CS, but enjoy the way you can jump in and try many visible features in Picassa. The most common tools are right there(most of the ones you will need), and there is plenty under the hood as you get to know it. This may be the ideal program for those not quite ready to pay cash for the newest interest. For new computer users, it would seem to be about the easiest to learn too. Not that dealing with pictures is ever completely easy. There are lots of things to learn, by Googling or from a good book. David Creelman

    3. Hi Floreda & Nancy, I've got an ancient old program that came with my scanner .... that was about 1998, when I was on Win 95. I've recently got a new p.c. with X.P. & the program runs just as well. It's called Ulead Image Pals to Go. It does the lot, resizes, sharpens old pics, has it's own photo album function that you can view thumbnails, (I don't use the photo album ... but it is good), easily transfers pics into Word, Outlook, P.P.S. etc.,& does the bells & whistles as well. It lets you save in many formats. Best of all you don't need a great big, new beaut, p.c. to run the thing. My old girl was 9 years old, & had a 3 Gb hard drive. I should take a leaf from your book Floreda, & get all my old pics scanned & sorted, burned to c.d. + printed as well. One day :) Cheers Carolyn > Hooooo-boy, I'd like to see that, too!! 3. Hi, I wrote to "Send Photos" and asked them about what I was getting....the red x box...... They said... this problem is quite common. It is due to the recipient's email viewer. For your OE there is a setting you can uncheck. Open OE > Tools > Options > Read Uncheck Read all messages in plain text OK.... That's all very well.... but you'd think if I COULD SEND them from my computer, my computer could also READ them.... However, that's Nancy logic, not computer logic.... At any rate, I did as he said, and will try to send another photo to myself, and see what happens... This is getting really, really, really old.... and annoying, to boot.... But, I do appreciate all the help that folks on this list have given me! PAX NancyT
