I also had this problem and I had to uninstall 7 and go back and reinstall 6 in order to open any PDF's-it said my computer system could not carry Adobe 7.0. Helen
My computer runs slower than it once did. I have done a lot of cleaning but the menu that comes up when I press "ctl/alt/delete to close programs is so long, I would like to know how I can find out if all these programs are needed and how to get the unneeded ones off when computer is started up. I noticed this when cleaning and defrag. It says just don't close Explorer and sys-tray. All help welcomed. Helen

I am having trouble getting reports/charts off my PAF5 companion programme. It keeps telling me "PDF-Exchange Driver needed". How do I get PDF installed. I am on Windows XP. Regards - Bette
Garth, there are different ways to do this. But the easiest way for you to start another address is to contact your ISP (Hypermax). Hypermax allow you to have up to five email addresses. I should imagine it would be a simple procedure - similar to setting up your first one. If you don't wish to use another address from your ISP, you can use any of the web mail services such as Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail. Gmail is available only by invitation from another user so I will send you one today (you can use it or discard it, I don't mind). Gmail is the better of those three services as they allow 2 GB's of storage and you can download, easily, your mail into your own mail program. Yahoo soon will be 1 GB, while Hotmail languishes on 250 MB. For Yahoo: http://mail.yahoo.com/ For Hotmail (Australia): http://ninemsn.com.au/ then click the Hotmail link This site will tell you all about Gmail: http://gmail.google.com/gmail/help/about.html Lance On 4/28/05, Patrick <grappa@hypermax.net.au> wrote: > Folks > Could SKS advise me as to how to set up a second email address. > I use Outlook Express. > > Thanks > > Garth >

Bob, try the download again. This time however, turn off any download manager you may be running. If you are a Firefox user, I would suggest you use Internet Explorer for the download as Firefox has a download manager. Once you have the new download, turn everything unnecessary off and install it. You should find it works this time. If it doesn't get back to me. The vsutil.dll should be lodged in your [drive]:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\repair folder. You should also have one in C:\Windows\system folder too. Lance P. S. I used restore and it worked. I am now back to where I started. Thank you I do not know why I can not think of using restore. I did not see this instruction. The one I used was for Windows 2000/XP. Bob, you didn't mention "why" you need to install this ".dll" (?). You didn't mention which OS you are using (?). "DLL" files can be saved in literally hundreds of places on your computer. You don't need to "open" it - the system looks after that aspect. DLL incidentally stands for "dynamic link library". It is an "executable" file that cannot run on its own. It can only run from inside an executable file (which is the core of any program). To do this an executable needs to "declare" the DLL function, then when needed the "call" is made with the required parameters. That is why you need to tell us "which" program needs this "missing dll" you are trying to install and what OS you are using. Lance P. S. Check out Legacy Family Tree today! I would turn off download manager if I could find it. I did a search and nothing that says download manager came up. I have Windows ME, do you know where it is? You have a specific program problem. See the forum response at http://forum.zonelabs.org/zonelabs/board/message?board.id=inst&message.id=28831#M28831 Follow those instructions to validate your Zone Alarm upate. I believe I had a similar problem years and years ago, that it was solved only by an uninstall and then a fresh install of Zone Alarm. Good luck. Thanks Lance - will look in to this.
I am using Windows ME. The file is for "Zone Alarm" and anti virus program. Zone Alarm told me I needed to get and update. I downloaded the update to my desktop, zlssetup_55, and when I went to install it this is when I was told vsutil.dll was missing.
