Hi, Would someone please tell me: 1---how do I make a folder and name it? (I have one that's named "photosfortollefsonstorybook"...in the "my documents" list....but clicking on it does nothing.... of course there is nothing in it, see question 2.....should I delete it and start over again??) 2---How do I get my photos into this folder? (I have a lot of photos that are just in "My Documents" and some that I need to scan in and place in this new folder....) 3---I would really like to put photos in this new folder and then put the whole folder onto a CD ... I've lost them before and had to re-scan, etc...don't care to do that again.... little, tiny baby steps on all 3, please, I have never put something INTO a folder...and I don't remember how I made the folder described in question 1....I see that folks have different folders for this, that, and everything else....what I've read seems to discuss "WEB" folders"???? Thanks, a bunch! NancyT

I believe that if you re-download the pictures from your memory stick with a different file name, you will have them all on your computer. You could then delete the first file, unless you want the duplicates. Nancy, I bet if you go to the website for you camera's maker, you will find an online manual. I did. Thank you , Carolyn Arkansas --- Hi, Carolyn- Posting a message to the list to ask if your previous posts have made it onto the list isn't the best way to get the answer to that question. So, what should you do to find out whether posts you sent have hit the list? Check the list archives for the month/year in which you sent the posts: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/SENIOR-NEWBIE/2005-05 Looking at this month's archives I see the post you just sent today and another one from a day or two ago.
