    1. Re: AVG Anti-Virus Icon Grey-out.
    2. Have you checked to see if you have the latest version of AVG, either the free or paid version, whichever one you have? It might be that you have an outdated version and they are no longer supplying updates for it, but you are getting what you are getting rather than a clear message/indication that that is what is going on. Something is blocking the AVG update and the most likely reason is a Firewall - whichever one you use, check in the rules list for anything to do with AVG and remove it. Then let the Firewall re-detect AVG needing access. HTH -- Best regards, Barry mailto:barry@yobunny.co.uk MicroSoft Free Zone running Xandros 2.0 Deluxe

    3. Ruth, when you have your address book open click next to the NAME heading. You will see a feint arrow head. This indicates the sort order. If you click in that area the sorting will reverse back to A-Z. Click again and it will go back to Z-A. Just note which way the arrow head is pointing - up or down. You can also alter the sorting of the other columns in a similar way. Many programs in Windows have this feature. Lance P. S. Check out Legacy Family Tree today! 3. My deep thanks to all who contributed comments and suggestions about jump drives. This technology was entirely new to me, so I am very grateful to know about it. Y'all have given me several ways to "jump" (pun intended) to find a good one at a good price, and I'll be pursuing them as time permits. All of y'all have been so kind, and I believe I have enough info now, so, as far as I'm concerned, this thread is finished. Again, thanks to all, and best regards.
