Sorry Joan - I was just choosing some of the lists I am on but have had several replies so I am sure she will have enough ideas now. Thanks for your help anyway. I wonder if someone can me some hints. A friend of mine is going to be taping the memories of her father when he comes to visit her next month - she wants to find out all about his life as he was growing up. I remember someone on one of these lists once giving a very helpful list of suggestions of questions to ask. I would be pleased if someone could give me a few ideas of what she should ask and I will pass it on to her. Thank you for your time. Jessie
I use AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition and testing starts faithfully at 8am each morning. 8am doesn't suit and I'd like to change the testing time, but I don't see how to do it. Can anyone help me please? Best wishes, Jenny.

Joan ******* Joan and Barry, Thank you very much, both of you. I did finally receive mail on Lycos. I'm really not sure why, unless it was the second email I sent them asking for help. It took a couple of days for me to get it. For some reason AOL wasn't accepting email from my son, so I just tried another email so that we could communicate. Maybe Lycos is going to work now. Thanks, as always, Velma

I have unsuccessfully tried to set up and use mail other than my AOL mail. I use the AOL browser, have XP, Zone Alarm and McAffee Virus Scan. What do I need to do? Let Zone Alarm know to let in Lycos? How do I do that? Thanks, Velma

Carrie, I presume you are referring to the arrows on the toolbar in Internet Explorer (you didn't state "where" you were having the problem - always helps :-))? If so, just right click a blank spot on the top toolbar. Select CUSTOMIZE from the context menu. Then look through the available tools on the left. You should see both the "arrows" there. Highlight each in turn and click ADD (in the middle) as you do that for each one. That should return them. If it is not Internet Explorer, this same procedure will work in other applications, too. Hi, I saw this in yesterday's Grand Forks, ND, Herald..... Princess Martha Louise of Norway will be at this year's Norsk Høstfest, in Minot, ND on October 12, and October 13. She will be reading portions from her Children's story book, "Why Kings and Queens Don't Wear Crowns". This story is based on the childhood of her grandfather, King Olav V. In 1905, Norway's Union with Sweden was peacefully dissolved and Norway needed to find a new royal family, and that's where her story begins. HM King Olav left Denmark as a young boy when his parents were chosen to be the new King and queen of Norway. The whole festival goes on Oct 11-15, 2005, in Minot, ND. Further info may be gotten: Phone: 701-852-2368 Or Web site: www.hostfest.com They usually put on a great show. There will be other things going on, too. PAX NancyT

List Members, I'm trying to publish what has been created in MS Publisher to the 'free version' of YAHOO web page and have been unable to determine how it should be done. I tried naming the document with different file extensions, but it seemed to automatically change the extension name. Then the Yahoo file manager said that it couldn't be uploaded. Somehow I have managed to get all the gif's and individual pages uploaded to YAHOO, but I have no idea how to get them to show up on the web. Does anyone have any suggestions or directions that might help? Thanks!
