Since the last reload of Firefox I have been having a problems. When I try to start Firefox I get a message "couldn't load XPCOM". Another problem is a lost the ability to close a screen or minimize my screen. Also I am getting a lot of ads on the right side of my screen, They just keep bopping up all the time.

Yes everything else connects. Do you have a smart phone and if so does it connect by wi-fi to the router and if so does IT work? When I set my combo up I had to "name" my router/wi-fi. When I click on my laptop wi-fi a list comes up of any and all available wi-fi options and tells me if they are open/public or secured. If secured and I select my router name it then asks for the password I set up for the router. Once I enter than and click to connect it doesn't ask me again...it just connects me.
