    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Sellers, Booth Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/JWGBAEB/1122 Message Board Post: Does anyone know of an Amy Sellers born in 1880 (don't know where) and died in 1920 in Metlakatla, Alaska. She married Simon Booth, born in 1879, Tsimshian Indian, from Kitselas, BC Canada. Amy was a teacher at the Chemawa Indian Boarding School in Oregon. Simon was a student there, he may have been Amy's student. They began their family in Seattle, Washington in the Alki area, they owned property there. They had five children: Catherine, Jack, George, William, and Florence. They moved to Metlakatla, Alaska and lived there till they died. There is close to no information available on Amy. We are not sure where she was originally from. It is thought that she could have been disowned by her family because she married an Indian man. She was possibly White, or even Indian from Oregon or the surrounding area. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at karlabooth@hotmail.com
