    3. JANICE. How/Why did you find me? Unless a member of our SELLERS group may be able to help. I only have the REV war by Bizzell Book on Duplin and Sampson Co., NC and it does have errors. I just do look ups for SELLERS BUT, WE did have a lot of them in this area! This info does NOT list his captain, etc, so probably NOT from war records. Francis PARKER file doesn't list his either. WILLIAM PARKER = 7TH bATTALION UNDER cOL jAMES hOGAN. 5TH bATTALION , BOUNTY LAND #2090. There is a SESSOMS PARKER with pay voucher #1784 from Wilmington, but, no war record. may have just collected money for a loss, etc? and not served?? ======= JOHN PARKER, PRIVATE, NC MILITIA There are three JOHN PARKERS in the area of BLADEN, OLD DOBBS AND DUPLIN. JOHN PARKER militia voucher #168 from Wilmington District. JOHN PARKER of Sampson Co was father of large family. twons sons , Francis and William fought for Rev War. JOHN PARKERS WILL = ON MARCH 22, 1786 , PROBATED APRIL 23, 1800 = 1100 ACRES TO WIFE, NOT NAMED. CHILDREN = JOSIAH, JOHN JR, FRANCIS, WILLIAM MARRIED OCT 1 1806 REBECKA WILLIAMS, CURTIS, THOMAS, NICHOLUS, LUKE, ELIZABETH WHO MARRIED DEC 13, 1824 TO JACOB MOORE AND LURANEY WHO MARRIED CLARK.
