Don't see PENELOPE'S AGE and place of birth here ? = 1797 = BULLUCH CO,GA and Follow thro 1800 and marriages, etc = NOW WHERE are we in 1800/1810 till 1820? LAND RECORDS = do we have/available? NEIGHBORS? = COUNTY MINTUES= WILLS of others= REV WAR records of who moved here with them?? 1812 WAR RECORDS are available and I don't see where ANYONE has sent info from records!! WE have some 1800/1830 LAND LOTTO? records available and SOME are posted = kinda hard to follow thro to the counties they came from and went to? WE NEED these families followed thro from 1800 to where they went, etc. 1835? CREEK WAR RECORDS are available and I don't see ALL of these! Would appreciate copy of the 1820/1830/1840 CENSUS on these families AND any earlier info on birth/marriages. He first appears in the 1820 census, and then again in the 1830 census. He had married Jane Carter in Bullock County, Georgia in 1797. In 1840 John Sellers is a younger man with wife, children and an elderly man in his household. In 1850 John Sellers is enumerated with Kizzie from NC and a house full of children. An elderly Jane Sellers is enumerated in a Dyal's household in 1850. John's household is the same for the 1860 census. By 1870, John and Kizzie are in Charlton County, Georgia. By 1880, Kizzie is a widow with adult children living in her household in Charlton County. I am looking for documentation that John of the 1820 census is the father of the John of the 1840 and forward census. I am attempting to do a DAR application on Samuel Sellers, RS of NC. His will was probated in Effingham County, Georgia listing children as this John, Samuel, and Penelope (Staten). After two trips to Appling County courthouse which burnt in 1857 and again more recently, I can't document this relationship. I would appreciate any input on this matter. Thanks.
