    3. It was the elder William Harvey that married Miriam Johnson as you can find them in the 1870 Phelps County, Missouri census. Miriam was about 32 years younger than William Harvey. As far as proving the IGI, I have found many, many errors on the IGI. Use the IGI and go to the county records where it was said to occur. It at least gives you a lead but do not take it as gospel until you prove it. Use the IGI as a clue that hopefully will help you prove your case. In an article section at: http://showcase.netins.net/web/sellerfamily/mophelps.htm You note the line I'm looking at. You stated: 1863 May 04 - William Harvey Sellers born to James N. Sellers and Eliza A. Chambers in Phelps Co., MO [IGI] 1865 Apr 11 - George Washington Sellers born to James N. Sellers and Eliza A. Chambers in Phelps Co., MO. [IGI] 1867 Feb 14 - John J. Sellers born to James N. Sellers and Eliza A. Chambers in Phelps Co., MO [IGI] 1870 Jun 12 - William Harvey Sellers married Mariam Johnson in Phelps Co., MO [IGI] 1873 Mar 06 - Sarah F. Sillers married William Calvin Hocutt at Rolla in Phelps Co., MO. [IGI] 1874 Mar 01 - Phebe J. Sellars married B. L. Sexton in Phelps Co., MO [IGI] 1876 Dec 31 - Lizeann Sellers married John Hatton in Phelps Co., MO [IGI] 1888 Oct 19 - James Joshua Sellers born to William Harvey Sellers and Emma Eliza Sharp in Phelps Co., MO [IGI] These notes were all taken from the IGI" How can I confirm this data from IGI? I'm wanting to confirm James Nelson's birth in Indiana and marriage to Emma Eliza Sharp in Maries Counties. Also for note... I suspect the William Harvey that married Mariam Johnson was James Nelson's father. This would mean he remarried 1 year after his first wife Mariah Williams died in 1869. He would have been approximately 62 years old when he marrried Mariam Johnson if this is correct. It would be within a realm of possible. James Nelson's son named William Harvey was born in 1863, so I doubt that he would have been of marrying age. I look forward to hearing you. Roger Sellers
