http://showcase.netins.net/web/sellers2/sellers_dna.htm WE NEED SELLERS from several different lines to PROVE family lines. PLEASE SUPPORT if you can. AS I understand it, EACH family line will have the same numbers and when we print the charts from the labs , they show these numbers that equal that family line. SO, we NEED tests from ALL of the SELLERS lines . Some of the pages on the above page/url explains better than I can and I am sure we have members with this knowledge. QUESTIONS, ask and we will find answers. WE are NEW into this and will USE it as a source. SOME of the other dna pages are interesting and helpful. SOME are very large, but, some are new like us. THANKS, marie, iowa
I would like to see a male descendant of James T/Y Sellers that died in 1805 Chatham County, NC and a male descendant of Robert Sellers Jr. that married Nancy Rodman do DNA testing to verify that James Sellers and Robert Sellers Sr. of Burke County, NC are brothers. I would also like for a male descendant of James Sellers of Rev. War from Chatham County, NC that lived in Grainger County, TN be tested to see if there is any link to the above mentioned brothers. Also a comparison could be done with the descendant of Robert Sellers Jr. with Micah Sellers descendants to see if they are related. Right now we think that Micah's father, James is a brother to Robert Sellers Jr. My Sellers line is a female line so I cannot be of any help here. Georgia
If the test results match that does not prove brothers... It merely indicates that most likely the two men whose DNA matches have a common male ancestor, who could be *many generations* back.
