ELDON, thanks. The BURKE AND CHATHAM CO, NC SELLERS are probably related, BUT, we would be interested in DNA tests from YOU/OUR proven SELLERS. REV WAR JAMES SELLERS born ca 1759 enlisted 1779 CHATHAM CO, NC, lived BURKE CO, NC before he was in 1833 GRAINGER CO, TN INTERESTED in doing a DNA test? = scrap inside mouth/cheek with soft brush and send to lab and they send us dna results. IT costs about $100. and the lab readings, if you approve, will be posted on the SELLERS DNA result page to compare with other SELLERS from all families and hopefully we end up with several from each branch . LET me /us know your feelings. SOME of our SELLERS are on fixed budgets and we understand/ADVISE. SOME of our SELLERS need more info/ADVISE. IF you want to discuss private, send email, stating PRIVATE, otherwise, all goes to our SELLERS group WHO get us where we are going/are! marie, iowa -----Original Message----- From: eedgin [mailto:eedgin@sbcglobal.net] Sent: Sunday, November 09, 2003 9:43 AM To: SELLERS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SELLERS] Sellers DNA Testing I am descended from James Sellers of Grainger County who was born about 1759 and served as a Private, North Carolina Line. Marie, thank you very much. Actually, I would be of no help to the Sellers concerning DNA. My 2nd great grandmother was Amie Ann Sellers, born in Grainger County, Tennessee on February 4, 1824. She was a daughter of John Sellers and Eleanor Brock and the granddaughter of James Sellers, born about 1759 in North Carolina. Eldon J.
