Reg of Death says born in Antrim Twp, Greencastle, 3rd District, Franklin Co, PA, Occupation Carpenter, Cause Cancer He was a barn builder and also worked on Lock No. 14 Monongahela Riverin West Virginia about 1901 - 1902. On 3/29/1882, bought property in State Line where my Grandparents lived. He married Mary E Rummel b 12/25/1853 in MD d unknown. Lived in Hagerstown, MD after death of George,per 1920 Census. They had the following 10 children: Harry b 3/27/1876 d 2/21/1922 Mollie b 1878 George Wm (Will) b 12/10/1880 d 12/2/1947 My Grandfather, also a barn builder Carl b 6/9/1883 d 7/12/1933 Alice b 11/1885 Lillian b 11/1888 Ray b 8/1891 Orpha b 7/16/1894 Twin Ralph b 7/16/1894 Twin The earliest Census I have found containing him was 1880,Antrim Twsp of Franklin Co, PA showing: Zellers George 26 ( Later census spells name as Sellers) Mary E 25 Harry B 4 Mollie 2 I have reached a brick wall trying to find parents of Geo W. Did anyone else see the short article on Sellersville PA, formerly Sellers Tavern, and their involvement in the bell making industry? It was in the "pull-out" section of our local paper today. The section is titled "American Profile, Central Division" No genealogy, but interesting. Bill Trott
