Bill, This very well could be him, I do know that he committed suicide either in 1917 or 1919. My Grandfather had to quit school in the second grade in order to help support the family. He was very depressed about the prices he was getting for his crops, or wasn't getting, I don't know, But He took a shot gun and set down on a stump and used his big toe to pull the trigger. This is the story I was told by my grandfather. Any info about the earlier generations would be much appreciated.
