Peggy Sellars, 78 PADUCAH, Ky. Peggy Jane Monroe Sellars, 78, of Paducah, formerly of Marion, Ill., died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Johnny Sams and Joe Estes officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation was after 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Mrs. Sellars was a member of Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church. She attended William Woods College in Fulton, Mo., and received her master's degree from Murray State University. Mrs. Sellars was a retired teacher, having taught 31 years at Concord Elementary School in McCracken County, Ky. She was a member of the Kentucky and McCracken County Retired Teachers Association, a member of Etta Chapter of International Teachers Society of Delta Kappa Gamma, a Kentucky Colonel, Duchess of Paducah, and an Ambassador of Paducah. Surviving are one daughter, Deborah LaRue May of Paducah; one son, James Monroe Sellars of Paducah; one brother, Charles Wood Monroe of Marion, Ill.; one grandson, Joshua Clayton May of Paducah, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Milton Sellars; her parents, Charles Raymond Monroe and Ethel LaRue Wood Monroe; and one brother, William Jasper "Bill" Monroe
