JACKIE, thank you for sharing. This is a very good book, esp on the info taken from the pension files. Usually documented. as is our ISOM SELLERS which does have a pension file and sworn documents. However, Samuel SELLERS did NOT have a pension file, so we have NO sworn documents of his to base the info they submitted. AND they don't state their source either. (I believe it may have been taken from the GA records that had been submitted by others? msh) SELLARS Samuel married Sellars, Zilpha 5-11-1767 42366 Duplin Bondsman= Jesse Sellers and ---- Merritt/Merrill NOV 9, 1790 SAMUEL SELLERS, JR of GA sells TWO tracts of land = 284 acres and 100 acres.(IT is Very hard to determine which Samuel Sellers these are? we only had the father and son in this area of GA?? msh) COPY of extraction of 1794 will, does NOT list a wife I just want to point this out , so others will NOT use it as a document and we know what we need to work on. PLEASE understand and thanks for sharing what we do have. ALL comments, more info , appreciated. marie, iowa -----Original Message----- From: Jackie Purdy [mailto:mjpurdy@cwnet.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 21, 2003 5:20 PM Source: GAEFFING-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [GAEFFINGHAM] Samuel Sellers Here is some more information for Samuel Sellers. >From the book, Revolutionary War Records from Duplin & Sampson,Co., North Carolina, by Virginia & Oscar Bizzell.
