If this is the correct Clyde Sellers he had a Social Security number of 336-10-0447 issued in the state of Illinois. You can request a copy of the Social Security information and get a death certificate, which hopefully will list the name of his mother. We already know his father's name was Albert Sellers born about 1859 in Indiana. Social Security Death Index indicates that Eva Alice Hunt Sellers was born 26 July 1885 and died April 1976 in Torrance, California. She had a SSN of 551-20-3890 issued in the state of California. Again you need to get a copy of the Social Security application and also a copy of her Death Certificate. You need to look at the census records of 1860 in Indiana (I would start with 1860 Henry County, Indiana) to see if you can find Albert in the household of his parents as a 1 year old. I would also look at 1900 and 1910 Richland County, Illinois, and 1900 and 1910 Henry County, Indiana to see if you can find Albert Sellers born 1859 Indiana. I would do that for you but those years are not indexed. Can anyone else help Geri Ann with this family? I really feel that she ties in with some other Sellers from Indiana and Illinois. Appanoose County, Iowa, had Moses Y. Sellers, a physician, living there in 1880. Moses Y. Sellers was born in Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana. Moses Y. Sellers was the son of Nathan Sellers and Mary Yowell. Nathan was the son of James Sellers and Mary Crawford. Very possibly there is a connection to this family for Geri Ann.
