I believe that Almon married Martha Franklin in Coryell County, TX after the death of Prudence (March 03, 1808-Sept. 8, 1869). The middle name for Prudence is from Sellers family knowledge according to Neel and Barefoot Family Association contact ... Betty McDougald bettym@houston.rr.com . Find Almon L Sellars on the 1850 Pike County Ala census; page 242. No slaves listed. ancestry image 220 of 294 lists Almon L. ; Prudence; Edmund; Mary; Christopher; Solomon; Joel; Sarah; Elizabeth; John. Find Almond Sellars and Eldred Sellars on 1830 Brunswick N.C. census; page 317A&B. Eldred owns slaves. 1 male and 2 females under 10 along with 1 male and 1 female =24 but less than age 36. Almond does not have slaves ... perhaps he lives with his father Eldred and shares the slaves. ancestry.com images13 & 14 of 46. 1840 census Pike county, Alabama; Almon Sellars had no slaves listed. 4 males and 3 females in household. ancestry.com image 11 & 12 of 94. The Eldred Sellers in 1830 Brunswick County, NC - is he a Junior or is it Senior? If I recall, he is too young to be the father so I assumed he was a Junior. The only Eldred's I know of (at least in this branch of Sellers) are Eldred or Ethelred father of Almon Lewis Sellers (not sure of this Eldred's birth date - "possibly" between 1770/1775) and Edmund Eldred (E.E.) son of Almon Lewis, born 1830.
