    1. Re: [SELLERS] Genealogy Help...proving a theory/DANIEL LEE SELLERS 1894 AL/re...
    2. Mari, Thanks for all the wonderful info. It would seem that there are two or three likely candidates. From what youve shown me, I am going to concentrate on Bladen Co, NC. I have Census records from 1910, WASHINGTON CO, AL which Place MY DANIEL LEE SELLERS, in the same house as DANIEL W. SELLERS. you have provided a census record from that same county which, apparently, I missed the first time, from 1880, Which also contains a DANIEL W. Sellers, b. in NC and is the right age. This DOES appear to match what my records indicate as being correct in 1910 in that same county. And the 1880 census appears to match what you have found in Bladen Co, NC. So, the questions now that remain are, Can I find the marriage record in Washington Co AL that lists His second marriage to Unknown? And what are the roots of the 1870 Bladen Co. Census. There are still a few things Im trying to figure out as well. In 1910 in Washington Co, AL, living 4 houses down from Daniel W. is a Richard Sellers and his wife. His age is 45 which would make him b. apprx. 1865. There is probably a connection there somewhere. Brothers? Cousins? Father/son? Secondly, what happened to Daniel's second wife? She either divorced him and left, or she died by 1910, because she is not on the census. But she was still there in 1898, as that is when Vira was born. Too bad social security numbers didnt come around until after the great depression. ;) thanks for the info. That gives me a new place to focus my search. Ill let you know what I find out. -Johnathan Clayborn
