This is the exact point that I loose track of the family for certain. I dont know when they arrived in AL, but it would certainly have to be some time before 1894, since thats when Daniel Lee was born, and he was born IN AL as the Census tells us. We ALL KNOW that the 1890 Census was destroyed in a fire in DC, so that doesnt do me any good because that is the NEXT step I would need to take, So I have to make a GUESS and search the 1880 Census. In WHICH CASE, There is a HIGH PROBABILITY that THE ABOVE Daniel W. and MY Daniel W are indeed the same as we can see from the preceeding data that he had a BROTHER named GEORGE W and another BROTHER named AMOS (which match the name of his Children). Now, getting back to your statements, Yes, my Wife does have a copy of her granfather's obit, no I cannot send a copy or an excerpt at this time, as it is packed away in storage. How does Bladen Co come into play? I never mentioned it. Do you have information on another Daniel W who was born in (or abt) 1831 in NC? I have done Genealogy for quite a while now. The problem is that I cant get easy access to the Court, land, probates or wills in that area as I live in AZ. I dont have $20 a piece to mail off for the certs. either. So, I go with what I KNOW. and I DO KNOW from the census records that I AM LOOKING FOR a DANIEL W. SELLERS b. abt 1831/1832 in NC. I am HOPING that SOMEONE on here will have some data to HELP me with my search, but if not, then thats okay, Ill do it the long way. There CANNOT be more than a Dozen DANIEL W.
