    3. JERRY, thank you. Samuel SELLERS 1844 death certificate list parents? also the Thomas SELLERS 1835 SC , do we know where he went after 1850? He would be the one we need to know WHERE born. was he in civil war or perhaps he died before 1860? or he may have married and took off. WE don't know Jeannie/Jeanettes maiden name? One note shows her born in Chester Co., SC, which could link to Thomas Sellers that went to Echols/Lowndes Co., GA. WE also don't have them on an 1840 census with one child? Lots of possibilities, Need some more documents. Samuel H. Sellers was born in Newton County on November 2, 1844. His mother's name was Jennie and she was born in SC on March 19, 1814. I do not have Samuel's fathers name at this time , however, he was also born in SC. The known children of this marriage: Margaret b. 1839 John A. b. 1842 Samuel H. b. 1844 and Jane E. b. 1847. Jennie appears in the 1850 census records by herself. DeKalb County was formed from part of Newton County and Jennie appears as a widow in the 1860 census living with her daughter, Margaret who is married to John N. Lodgins. Also living with the family was daughter , Jane E. Sellers . She was later listed as Mrs. J.E. McCurdy. Jennie died on March 25, 1885 in DeKalb county while still living with her daughter, Margaret Lodgins. She is buried in the Prosperity Cemetary located on Westside peachtree road between Chamblee & Doraville, GA Lot 309, 18th district. Samuel H. Sellers married Julia Ann Kay on October 20, 1868 in Georgia. Julia was born May 16, 1851 in DeKalb county GA. Her parents were William T. Kay b. November 09, 1820 d. January 08, 1903 and Lucretia Cardar or Carter Kay b. December 22, 1822 d. February 07, 1910. Both are buried at the Springcreek Cemetary in Douglas County MO. After their marriage, Samuel and Julia moved to Douglas County MO in 1871. Julia's parents moved with them. Samuel and Julia homesteaded 240 acres in Springcreek Township. Della Lula Fulton 02-22-1903 Earl Samuel Della Opal Raymond William Herman Clyde Alma Lee Ernest Leon Following the death of Samuel on June 07, 1887 , Julia married George Washington Johnson November 17,1903. He was the son of William H. & Sarah Bowen Johnson from Scott County, VA. Julia died April 15, 1915. She and Samuel are buried at Springcreek Cemetary in Douglas County MO. Ernest & Della Sellers received 80 of the 240 acres upon his parent's deaths. Della was the daughter of William J. Fulton & Sarah J. Stubbs Fulton. Della was born 07-31-1884 & died July 04,1976. She and Ernest are buried at the Springcreek Cemetary. They raised tomatoes and at one time had a canning factory Raymond Sellers married Carrie Edith Osburn on October 10, 1931. She was born September 18, 1910 and her parents were James b. 02-22-1888 d. 12-15-1918 & Ada Andrews Osburn b. 12-12-1880 d. 11-22-1915. Their children are Billy, LaVern & Jerry.
