Can you tell us who these Sellers are in the household of Barbara Ohmart Sellers in 1850? The sequence of the ages is very strange. They are all in the same household. 1850 Montgomery County, Illinois census Barbbra Sellers, 50, F, Virginia John Sellers, 17, M, Ohio Aron Sellers, 7, M, Ohio Daniel Sellers, 28, M, Ohio Meeky Sellers, 13, F, Illinois Louisa Sellers, 11, F, Illinois Susanah Sellers, 3, F, Illinois John Sellers, 2, M, Illinois Benjamin Sellers, 1/12, M, Illinois Mary White, 11, F, Ohio Georgia -----Original Message----- From: Sellers.Michael [mailto:msellers@acresgaming.com] Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2004 5:07 PM To: SELLERS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: RE: [SELLERS] SELLERS/MARSHALL CO, IN/BRETHREN CHURCH Frank, Good to hear from you and see that you are still actively on the list. I wish I had something of use to add in solving the mystery. Perhaps one of these days you and I will include ourselves in the FTDNA test to see if we match. If we do, this would lend credence to you and I both descending from Heinrich Zeller, which in turn would tell us that Henry Sellers, b. 1800 in VA and d. 1848 in Montgomery Co., IL also descended from Heinrich, likely as a grandson. Fascinating how all of this could work out somehow, eh. John Henry Sellers' obit is entered in the Marshall Co., IN file from my submission of it a few years ago. As Michael and I have worked on this issue before, he is right to point out the difficulty. While I can prove John Henry Sellers of Marshall Co., IN is the son of Henry Sellers, b. 1800 in VA and d. 1848 in Montgomery Co., IL who m. Barbara Ohmart 1822 in Clark Co., OH, pinning down Henry's father is much more difficult. Frank Sellers Falls Church, VA
