Marie and Nancy, There are probably 25-30 different Sellers/Zeller names (some duplicated by being listed under two or more spellings) in the Pennsylvania digital archives system (ARIAS). These are in the form of abstract cards only. Some are clearly marked at the bottom to say that the card listing does not prove service. Others are marked to say it does. On the inactive duty militia cards, the distinction seems to be that some men were listed as in the militia but it is unknown whether they were called to serve, it appears that they were not called to serve, or they actually evaded service. Other cards make it clear that the men did serve. I usually start by searching for the Pennsylvania Archives and look for ARIAS specifically, but this is the address for the instructions page, in case someone prefers a direct line. Hope it works. http://www.digitalarchives.state.pa.us/instructions.asp From this page, click on "Exploreďż˝" near the bottom of the page, and then click on the Revolutionary War Military file. The next steps should be obvious.
