I have several Sellers names from the same source (ARIAS) noted by Sherry: Sellers, Philip Lancaster Co., 7th Bn, time of service June 26 to July 23 1781--Commander: Capt Abraham Scott--for duty at Lancaster. Sellers, Philip Lancaster Co., 3rd Bn, Commander Col. Lowery, Company commander Capt Robert McKee--served at Middletown. Sellers, Philip, Lancaster Co., 10th Bn, Commander Lt William McClure--duty:substitute for John Parks. I have a feeling that these three Philips are the same man. Sellers, David Phila. City, Commander Capt. Elija Weed, dated 1780-1781 Sellers, David, Cumberland Co., 4th Company, Aug 6, 1781--no duty station noted Sellers, George, Washington Co., 5th Company, service 1781-1783--no duty station noted Information in these abstracts is sketchy at best. There was one entry for a non-Sellers member that included a statement, "He leaves or his crop fails." Kinda funny, but it alludes to the pressures that many of those militia men faced other than the war itself. Carl Sellers

Do you have the Pa Rev War list (OK, your info is from diff list?) separated into counties that we could post on each county page? kinda like= LANCASTER CO, PA Sellers, Philip Lancaster Co., 7th Bn, time of service June 26 to July 23 1781--Commander: Capt Abraham Scott--for duty at Lancaster. Sellers, Philip Lancaster Co., 3rd Bn, Commander Col. Lowery, Company commander Capt Robert McKee--served at Middletown.
