The page 81 must be from a tax list? That is an interesting find and I would like to pursue it further. Marie, "real Find" thanks for sharing it with me. This is indeed Sabert Sollars in Buncombe Co., NC which is a few miles south of Greene Co., TN. I did it years ago, before public computers, in part from his Revolutionary War records and pension application. Sabert Sollars indeed had a very full and active life, right down to being part of Joseph Robidoux' Fur Trading business in the Blacksnake Hills where St. Joseph, Mo was established as other settlers came to settle around the post. I'm sure their are other records to be glean from the areas he lived in that will provide more details about him. I'm sure that one day they will likely appear on the internet perhaps through Mormon efforts. I keep hoping to find some additional records in the Shenandoah that make mention of my Ignatius Sollas. I have not even been able to locate a marriage license for him and Elizabeth. There are early Tax Rolls in Frederick Co., VA that he is present on. I would dearly love to see these transcribed and all available on the Internet, but to date nothing has shown up. It would good to study all those recorded on it from the 1780s to 1800. Bob Robert C. Marie, Your invitation is there by now! Anything you might be able to add will be helpful. Sabert' descendants are slow with the interest for the site. You may be able to glean some help from it... I do have a portion of my history on Sabert Sollars (1758-1843) in there as well. Enjoy.
