Just some notes from my recent trip to the Indianapolis Library. Linn County, Kansas: A History, by William A. Mitchell, 1928, pg. 351 "John Sellers from Madison county, Indiana, and his wife Elizabeth Railsback from Wayne county, Indiana, were the parents of Emma who married John Miller. The other children were Lucullus Railsback Sellers who married Alice Goss, Estella married O. Manlove, Viola married A. J. Jackson, Alma never married, Ora married Dr. J. J. Workman." (The marriage records show that it was Getella or Gaitella who married Orlando Manlove. Census records both show an Estella and Getella listed together) John and Elizabeth Railsback Sellers are in the index for the History of Wayne County, Indiana but the microfiche for those pages they were on was missing. Not sure what information was on it. The 1870 Mortality Schedule of Kansas. Linn County Elizabeth Sellers, age 44, born Ind., female, white, married, died May, Infa. Rheum. (This is more than likely Elizabeth Railsback Sellers since she did not appear in the 1870 census with her husband in Linn County.) I have two bios for Dr. John S. Sellers, son of Isaac and Emma R. Troxell Sellers. One says Isaac had 11 children and one says the had 8. The first one listed names the second on didn't. Here's the list: Selma m. Griffith Hinchman Isaac T. Atty, (not sure if that means Isaac T. Sellers, attorney) Adalaide, m. Calvin Cassell John S., m. Emma J. Menefee Cassius M. Ira Granville Monterville James Mary Wallace Maybe three died as infants. Once I copy the entire bio, I'll send it out. Lastly, I have the 1825 Will of Isaac Sellers of Wayne County, Indiana (need to transcribe all of it) Mentions wife Nancy and sons Isaac and John. Other children not mentioned. Also mentions 80 acres of land in Wayne County. Jim
