I was all ways told that Reece Lawson was really A LEFFEW?? So we are from the Leffew, Does anyone no about them!! HE TOOK THE NAME LAWSON? My grandfather was James H Lawson of Union CO, MARRIED Minnie Bell Williams. Grandpaw was born in Middlesboro,Ky --Reece WAS BORN IN Grainger co. Tenn If anyone has anyinf let me no. My grandparents lived in Union Co until 1935 they had to move to Roane co,Tn because of the Gov took there land for the River or the dam. They lived right across from Campbell co where the Jonesville cemetery is out. There children were, Leland Lawson, Harley, Ruby (my Mom) married (Emerson Parrott of Campbell co.)
